Product Manager (Interactive drills)

Your mission as a Product Manager at HackMotion is to lead the initiative to help us build the world’s best interactive excercises (drills) for wearable products.
From real-time animations to haptic feedback our drills combine hardware and software to teach movement patterns in sports.
You’ll take ownership of shaping and improving the drill experience in our mobile app – making sure our drills are usable, intuitive, and fun to do.
You'll join our newly created 3rd Product team that consists of a skilled UI designer and top talent developers.
You'll play a key role in helping us ship high-quality features that truly improve how people train with HackMotion.
Your success will be defined by:
- You’ve taken full ownership of your team – leading sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and roadmap execution.
- You’ve taken full ownership of HackMotion drills, including:
- Setting up a system to assess drill quality through field tests, user feedback, and data analysis.
- Driving measurable improvements in both drill quality and user engagement.
- HackMotion drills are recognized as world-class:
- Users experience is seamless and “it just works”
- Drills are seen as valuable, fun, and worth repeating.
Your tasks:
- Lead and coordinate efforts across design, engineering, and hardware to build world-class interactive drill experiences.
- Make data supported decisions and experiment quickly
- Conduct user interviews and field tests to understand user needs.
- Managing and prioritising your teams backlog.
- Evaluating the success of each launched solution.
What we expect:
- Great English communication skills – both verbal and written; able to clearly express ideas, requirements, and feedback.
- Strong user research capabilities – conducting high-quality user interviews and running field tests that generate actionable insights.
- Ability to coordinate product development from idea to implementation:
- You can sketch wireframes, map user journeys, and write clear documentation.
- You’re used to working hand-in-hand with designers and developers.
- Comfortable with technical discussions – you don’t need to write code, but you understand how software is built.
- Strong problem-solving mindset – you think in systems, structure problems well, and enjoy tackling tricky product challenges.
Nice to have (but not required)
- Experience with game design or a strong passion for gaming.
- Background in sports or coaching.

We’ll review your work and, if successful, invite you to a detailed interview (~1.5 h) to go through your previous experience, projects, and problem-solving approach.

Our journey so far

Company founded
HackMotion was created to improve the experience of learning skill-based activities with a virtual coach. Our early prototypes did full-body motion capture and were tested in extreme environments such as snowboarding and even skydiving in vertical wind tunnels.

First product launch
The first HackMotion product was built and launched in 2018. It was targeted to the golf professional niche - golf coaches and advanced players.

HackMotion adoption among golf pros
HackMotion golf product quickly gains traction and gets widespread adoption among top industry professionals. These include true superstars, such as the coaches of Rory McIlroy (former world rank No. 1) and Dustin Johnson (winner of 6 world cups).

HackMotion Golf Player version launch
Based on learnings gained working with golf professionals the HackMotion Golf Player version was launched and quickly gained momentum. Within the first year, thousands of products were shipped across 5 continents allowing rapid scaling of the business.

Becoming a global sports wearable leader
Our ambition for the upcoming years is to continue significant expansion in the golf consumer segment. For the last few years, we have been growing 2x or more a year. Our goal is to be the world's No. 1 in virtual coaching wearables.
Our office
Most of our team members work in a remote-office mix, however, most of the time is sepent in office. We are located in the very city center in the scenic Kronvalda Park. We have literally one of the greatest views in Riga. We share the building with The Art Academy of Latvia, so there are always creative attractions in the hallway.
Also, we have an indoor golf simulator to always be able to test our products as well as have a little fun.
